Source Labels’ patented Diplo ECO labels, which carry labels on both sides of the liner, are now compliant with the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), giving users a way to halve liner consumption while meeting the new rules.

BY MAKING more efficient use of the liner, Diplo ECO needs up to 50% fewer cores than conventional labels and means fewer reels to transport and store, cutting logistics movements and the warehouse space needed for label stock.

The company says the labels typically cost around 10% less than conventional equivalents, while manufacturing them produces approximately 20% lower carbon emissions. Less liner waste also means less material to process or dispose of at the end of its use.

“Diplo ECO was developed to challenge the conventional approach to label production and deliver more value from every reel,” said Tim Lowe, founder of Source Labels . “With EUDR compliance now achieved, Diplo ECO offers an even more compelling solution for businesses looking to combine commercial performance with environmental responsibility.”
