Flexstone® FG-I15-PSA

According to specification sheet NMEQS-MACO 298, the FG-2I grades and the PSA-backed FG-I grades are printable by HP Indigo, dry toner, UV curable, offset and screen print. The Label & Hang Tag Solutions brochure lists the FS-2I and FM-2I grades for HP Indigo and the FG-2I grades for both Indigo and toner. The 2K offset grades use a different coating; specification sheet NMEQS-MACO 293 marks the FS / FG 2K grades from 0.15 to 0.30 mm as not compatible with HP Indigo.

The FG grades on specification sheet NMEQS-MACO 298 are supplied as 460 × 320 mm and 480 × 330 mm sheets; no sheet size is published for the brochure-only FS-2I and FM-2I grades. Non-adhesive 2I grades are printable on both sides in 0.20, 0.25, 0.30 and 0.35 mm. On NMEQS-MACO 298, FG-2I20 / 25 / 30 / 35 weigh 280±28, 350±35, 420±42 and 490±49 g/m², and the self-adhesive FG-I15-PSA and FG-I20-PSA weigh 310±31 and 380±38 g/m²; the FS and FM 2I grades are lighter at the same thickness and have a nominal weight only. Gloss is 3–8, whiteness is ≥82 (wb) and opacity is ≥90% on the FG-2I grades (NMEQS-MACO 298); the FS-2I and FM-2I grades are listed in the Label & Hang Tag Solutions brochure for HP Indigo with nominal weight only.

Specification sheet NMEQS-MACO 298 rates the FG-2I grades and the PSA-backed FG-I grades at 80℃ (176℉) long-term, measured in days, and 120℃ (248℉) short-term, measured in minutes. No heat rating is published for the FS-2I and FM-2I grades, which are listed only in the Label & Hang Tag Solutions brochure — request their data sheet before specifying them. The FG limits are intended to suit the blanket and fuser stages of digital presses. Press settings differ between machines, so run a short test on the actual press and confirm feeding, fusing and flatness before a production run.

Yes. FG-I15-PSA and FG-I20-PSA are one-side printable sheets with a permanent PSA adhesive, with face thicknesses of 0.15 and 0.20 mm and total thicknesses of 0.25 and 0.30 mm. The adhesive holds 0.5 kg on a 25 × 25 mm area for 24 hours without slide, and its rolling-ball initial adhesion is 8–10# steel ball within 100 mm (GB/T 4852-2002). Removable -RSA label grades are listed in the Label & Hang Tag Solutions brochure only; no part-number page or test data is published for them.
